E.F. Satan

The Santa Fe passed 300,000 miles a couple weeks ago.  I just got it new tires and brakes, as everything else checked out well, so it looks like I should be able to get my money's worth out of them.  I am cautiously optimistic it will see me through another winter after all.
I've been very fortunate with this car - not really any major issues.
It's a 2004.  Mom got her car the same year, but mine always had 10x the miles; we used to joke about her car only being driven by a nice old lady on Sundays to go to church.  (Because she was also a tough old lady, she would also occasionally drive the 40-mile round trip to chemo and back, when she "didn't want to bother" family or friends.  And, she drove to the grocery store, and cooked all her own food from scratch, right up until the end.)
I hope to give it a thorough cleaning:  11 years of commuting has left its mark.  Also, countless trips to Michigan and Iowa, and one trip to Florida and back.  I should get a hazmat crew to dispose of those floormats.
Friending welcome, but lurking is fine too.

Constructive criticism is also welcome - whatever it is, trust me, I've heard worse.
