No amount of scrubbing could remove the mulberry stains from my hands before heading in to work today.  Which is fine; they pair well with the poison ivy tracks on my arms.  Tomorrow, I'll be able to add puffy eyelid welts, from the clouds of mosquitoes that attacked me on my five-minute trip to the compost pile.
Sadly, none of this will keep me from the 15-20 meetings a week, for the various projects and the assorted manager freakouts.

I made mango-ginger-mulberry freezer jam last night.  It turned out pretty well, for my first batch of freezer jam and no exact recipe.  A bit over-set, but flavorful.  I used the Sure-Jell for less-sugar recipes, but it was still a mighty pile of sugar.

Next task on the list is pitting/rinsing/chopping two big bowls of sour cherries.  I could have harvested more, but this is all I can manage to process in a reasonable amount of time.  Again the plan is freezer jam (I'd need the yellow bedroom to try making wine again, but someone's living in it right now), plus maybe a nice pie or two.

A pair of robins built a nest about eight feet from my picture window.  I startle them whenever I walk on that side of the living room.  The babies have hatched, apparently; I can't see them yet, but I do see the parents taking turns at poking their head into the nest and making regurgitation motions.
Friending welcome, but lurking is fine too.

Constructive criticism is also welcome - whatever it is, trust me, I've heard worse.
