I used the weather (nearly 70 today) as an  excuse to leave work early and plant a few things in the garden.  Just part of one raised bed.  The ground in the raised beds is just barely dry enough to be worked.  Things are just starting to bud out, no crocus yet, it isn't really spring yet - it just looks like it because there was so little snow that it's all melted off.

Anyway, I planted Alaska shell peas, Sugar Ann snap peas, Nabechan bunching onion, Crimson Forest bunching onion, Regiment spinach, and Butterflay spinach.  I feel better now.

Phenology:
Robins are here, so clearly earthworms within striking distance, although I saw none while planting seeds.
Sandhill cranes are back; I heard a few last Friday, and a flock of 30 flew overhead today.  They were here even earlier last year, so possibly I'm just late noticing.

Tomorrow and rest of week:  more seasonable weather.

Friending welcome, but lurking is fine too.

Constructive criticism is also welcome - whatever it is, trust me, I've heard worse.
