also kale

I forgot the nice little bunch of young lacinato kale.  Roasted it with olive oil and salt; it tasted a bit kelpy to me, and I'm not a big fan of kelp, but roasting it until crispy took care of that.  Then added it to the pasta&veg mix.

I suppose I'd better harvest the dry beans tomorrow.  I meant to earlier this week, while it was still warmer and quite dry, but so many pods were still green.  Well, frost tonight.  Hopefully the dry pods will be dry enough to store for planting next year.  These are the bantu beans - beans from Africa, bought from Richters (in Canada); they did well the first year and that crop germinated well, so I'm hoping to maintain my own little Wisconsin landrace.  I paid way too much for that first packet, but they're so darn pretty.

Constructive criticism is also welcome - whatever it is, trust me, I've heard worse.
